Install on Windows

  1. 1Unzip the Windows x64 ZIP file.
  2. 2Run BulkSMS AI.exe.
  3. 3Select More info > Run anyway if SmartScreen appears.
  4. 4Sign in to your BulkSMS AI account.

Windows SmartScreen may warn because current BulkSMS AI desktop builds are not code-signed yet.

Install on macOS

  1. 1Unpack the macOS Intel or Apple Silicon tar.gz file.
  2. 2Move BulkSMS AI to Applications.
  3. 3Right-click BulkSMS AI, choose Open, then Open again.
  4. 4Allow USB modem access when macOS asks.

macOS Gatekeeper may block first launch because current BulkSMS AI desktop builds are not notarized or code-signed yet.

Questions

Why is there a security warning?

The desktop builds are not code-signed yet, so Windows and macOS show standard warnings before first launch.

Can I use my SMS provider?

Yes. Connect Twilio, Vonage, Plivo, or a compatible custom REST API from your account settings.

Do I need the desktop app?

Use it when sending from a USB GSM modem or phone. API-only sending can also run in the web app.
